Although the Albion is located in the heart of Ashland, our garden has a peaceful quality to it that suggests a more rural setting. The stellar jays, hummingbirds and occasional deer that pass our way join Jack, the Garden Cat, in creating a peaceable kingdom where guests and nature can find their own rhythms.

We have three seating areas for outdoor gatherings and meals: alongside the hummingbird feeders, under the cedars, and in the shade of the wisteria.

During the summer the roses are always outrageous in their beauty. By October, they are reaching out, still gorgeous, for the light of fall's last shortening days. The goldfinches gather above the lavendar, alighting in droves upon our stores of thistle seed. And the liquid amber is first in announcing the changing of the seasons. Each season in Ashland has its particular glories, and we invite you to experience them all with us.
